Prices, Engines & Trim Levels
The current electric MINI Cooper range features the E, SE and performance-focused John Cooper Works Electric. The E develops around 181bhp from a 36.6kWh usable battery, with official range of roughly 180–190 miles depending on specification; realistic mixed range is nearer 135–165. The SE increases output to approximately 215bhp, uses a 49.2kWh usable battery and offers up to about 250 miles officially, with around 185–215 in real use.
The JCW Electric takes power to around 255bhp and provides much stronger acceleration, although range falls slightly relative to the SE. UK new prices vary with trim, options and current manufacturer offers, broadly starting in the low £30,000s and rising well beyond £40,000 for the most highly specified cars. Classic, Exclusive and Sport-focused styling choices alter the look and equipment but it is the battery and motor that change the car's everyday usefulness. This generation launched in 2024 with an all-new cabin and revised electric platform rather than a modest facelift.
