Prices, Engines & Trim Levels
The iX1 eDrive20 uses a front-mounted electric motor producing approximately 201bhp and a 65.2kWh usable battery. Depending on equipment, official range is around 288–313 miles, with realistic mixed UK driving of roughly 225–265 miles. It reaches 62mph in around 8.6 seconds, which feels sufficient rather than exciting. UK new prices generally begin in the mid-£40,000s, although offers and option packs can move the final figure.
The xDrive30 adds a second motor and all-wheel drive, with combined output close to 309bhp and considerably quicker acceleration. The extra performance and traction come at the cost of some efficiency, with official range typically below the best eDrive20 figures. Sport, xLine and M Sport models bring different wheels, seats and styling, while technology and comfort packs can increase the cost significantly. Introduced in 2022 as the electric member of the latest X1 family, the iX1 has subsequently received equipment and software updates rather than a complete model replacement.
